Periodically we select featured rods and provide some insight into the rod's design, build and highlighted features. 

The rods for this period are a pair of freshwater spinning rods.  

Overview: Cutlass SC84ML-W

• Built on a Cutlass OEM SC84ML graphite blank the rods are designed to be utilitarian and versatile allowing them to be fished across multiple freshwater applications. The high-quality graphite construction strikes the perfect balance between strength and sensitivity.
• The moderate fast action with a sensitive and responsive tip and, the Performance Grade titanium oxide guide train, provides precision casting and excellent strike detection.  
• The Medium-Light power rating and finely tuned action, give this rod the ability to take on a wide range of fishing scenarios including a firm hookset and gentle control of your catch.

Highlighted Features:

• #24-06 features custom cork/EVA foam composite full length grips and a trim thread wrap that was inspired by the petal of a bougainvillea. The shading of the flower's petal is replicated in a 6-color fade wrap that frames the rod label. 
• #24-08 features a blue shades trim thread wrap and a split grip handle comprised of reverse taper cork grips and fighting butt with an ergonomically engineered graphite reel seat.
