The Sierra Fly Series rods are built on Stryker USA built SFR blanks.

Powered by high modulus (IM8) carbon fiber and advanced nanoparticle resin technology the rods deliver crisp, accurate presentations and enable easy casting and mending.  

The high performance IM8 material is combined with Silica Nano Matrix (SNM) nano particle resin to create strong, durable, lightweight and sensitive rods.  

The IM8 rods are lighter and stronger than IM6 rods yet, have the same stiffness. The SNM resin results in more evenly dissipated rod stress and a significantly lighter, stronger, more durable and more flexible rod. 

The action and load distribution provides better casting, hook sets, and fish fighting power.  

By reducing weight, improving strength and sensitivity the IM8 rods deliver performance improvement where it counts.
